- EPCRA EXPO
|Community Right-to-Know was the theme for the first EPCRA EXPO held by the Region 5/6 LEPC. The event was held March 13th at the Fremont City Auditorium and was open to the public. There were 15 federal, state and local response agencies that set up information booths and provided literature and giveaways for people to take home. Even the participating response agencies got the opportunity to network and share information with each other.
EPCRA (Emergency Planning/Community Right-to-Know Act) is part of the EPA SARA Title III program. Certain firms must provide the public with information about hazardous materials on their premises. These firms are known as TIER II facilities; a complete list of their names can be found on our website at LEPC.

CF Industries and Hormel, both located in Fremont, were 2 of the Dodge County co-sponsors for this event.
